Your questions, answered
Is Newcyte a medical provider?
No. Newcyte is an educational website and directory. We research regenerative technology in plain English and help you find independent licensed providers. Only a licensed clinician who has evaluated you can say whether any treatment is appropriate.
What does 'research use only' (RUO) mean?
A product labeled research use only is intended for laboratory or research purposes and has not been evaluated or approved by the FDA for diagnosing, treating or preventing any condition in humans — it cannot legally be marketed for treatment. Ask any provider plainly whether a product is RUO and what that means for its use.
Are stem cell, exosome, Wharton's jelly or amniotic products FDA-approved?
Generally, no, for the uses they're most commonly marketed for (joints, pain, aesthetics, anti-aging). The FDA has issued public warnings about unapproved regenerative products. Ask any provider exactly what product they use and its specific FDA status.
What is the research on peptides, and can you tell me how much to take?
We cover current, general research on peptides for recovery and longevity — but we never provide dosing information. Most research peptides are sold research-use-only and any use outside a monitored clinical or research setting carries real uncertainty; talk to a licensed provider.
How does wholesale peptide sourcing work?
Licensed providers can source research-use-only peptide and regenerative products at wholesale through Provider Back Office. This is strictly a provider-to-provider wholesale channel — these products are never sold or marketed directly to consumers.
How do providers join the referral network?
Licensed providers can list for free, or reserve an exclusive referral territory — a ZIP code, a state, or the whole country — so that patients in that area who ask for help are connected to them.
What should I ask before considering any regenerative treatment?
Ask what the product actually is, its FDA status, whether it's research-use-only, what evidence supports it for your specific condition, the risks and alternatives, and the total cost. A good provider will answer clearly and won't pressure you.
